Doris Kay Voice, age 65 of Kingsley,
Doris Kay Voice, age 65 of Kingsley, passed away quietly asleep in her chair with her book at her side on April 15, 2016.
She was the loving wife of 32 years to LeRoy Voice Jr. Cherished mother of Christopher (Diane) Brown. Dear grandma of Terry and Alex. Sister of Donna (the late Joe) Phelps, Chet (Sherry) Evans, Roger Evans, Terry (Brenda) Evans Dawn (Howard) Waldron, Paula Evans and Richard Patrick. Niece of Irene Markey and Velma Perry. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her dear and special friends Judy and Jim Soper, along with a whole community of friends. . She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert Evans and Dorene Patrick and her father in law; LeRoy Voice Sr. Dorene lovingly gave Doris the nickname Kitty.
Doris enjoyed reading, swimming, watching old movies and playing cards and games. She was known for her beautiful beadwork and jewelry making. She loved spending time with her family and her two cats; Baby and Patches. Doris had a keen sense of humor and a heart of gold. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016; Noon with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Kingsley United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions made to the Cherryland Humane Society or Kingsley EMS are greatly appreciated. Please share a memory of Doris on the family's online guestbook.
