Not sure if this was 2015 or 2016. Leon was camping at the river, and I surprise visited him there. He introduced me to true camping, in the middle of the woods with the river nearby. We enjoyed one last camping trip this year, back in June, and for that I am grateful... the memories will always be with me... fly high brother....

This was Leon's first visit to the Texas Roadhouse. He enjoyed it very much, we went 2 more times. I'm sure having a hard time processing this loss. Not only my brother, my best friend...

I remember the first time I met Leon, I was meeting his brother David and his family for breakfast at the Jackson Coney Island. David introduced me to the family and I remember Leon being somewhat quiet but we we're all cracking jokes before breakfast that morning and I remember Leon laughing and I will never forget that smile. I have been good friends with Leon's brother David Dalton for years and I am blessed that I was able to meet such a kind soul.
My condolences to the family of Leon.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Getting to know you over the last 30 years has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me, other than my daughter being born. Our weekly phone calls, sometimes daily, are going to be sorely missed. Being able to take 2 annual brother trips will be something I will always cherish. So much to say, so little words. Fly high my brother, until we meet again. I love you brother... Brother Dave.
