Marlin D. Conway, age 78 of Buckley passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Munson Medical Center. Marlin was born in Davison, MI. on Dec. 27, 1940 to Floyd and Nellie (Harson) Conway. He spent only his early years downstate, and then moved to the family farmhouse in Buckley.
He was one of eight children, and attended Buckley Schools. On August 27, 1960 he married Connie Cebula at that very same farmhouse. Marlin worked for Pet Inc. in Frankfort for 26 ½ years, retiring in the mid 1980’s.
He enjoyed to hunt and fish; especially deer hunt, and just loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Connie, son Rick, siblings; Roseann Berry, Ronald Conway and Dolores Hart, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Nelson and Terry Conway, and sisters Bernita Melanson and Alvera Nowosislosky.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18th at the Covell Funeral Home, 200 N. Brownson Ave. in Kingsley at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment in the spring will be in Grant Twp. Cemetery.
