

Anna Lee Robertson, of Kingsport, TN, 95, peacefully passed away at her home on December 6, 2022. She was the youngest child born to the late Roy E. (Ed) Fletcher and Norma E. (Franklin) Fletcher in Gate City, Virginia. At age 13 she was baptized in Big Moccasin Creek and was a Baptist all her life. Anna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and friend. She was loved and admired by all who knew her. She was a naturally curious person and avid puzzler solving crosswords, as well as, many of life’s puzzles. Her humor and humanity shown through in the poetry she wrote, pencil drawings she sketched, and countless acts of kindness. She lives with us in loving memory and will for evermore.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brinton T. Robertson, Jr., her sister, June McCoy, and her eldest son, Johnny M. Robertson.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Cathy Langsner and her husband Stefan, her son, David W. Robertson, three grandchildren, Stacey Moone, Elyse Robertson, and Erik Robertson, a devoted niece, Susan Kilgore, and many loving nieces and nephews.
The Robertson family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 1:00 to 1:45 pm in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow with pastor Gabe Manis officiating. A Committal Service will ensue in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home.
The Robertson family would like to extend a special thank you to Anna’s nurses and caregivers at The Blake in Kingsport, SunCrest Hospice, and Visiting Angels for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, the Robertson family has requested donations be made to the Weber City Baptist Church, 155 Shady Elm Ln., Weber City, VA 24290 or a local food bank.
