Barbara Elaine Jessee

She was born November 5, 1950, to the late Jessee and Eda Castelow. Barbara worked as a telemarketer for many years. She loved all creatures great and small, especially her dogs. Above all she cherished her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Her family will remember her kind and loving nature and her devotion to her Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Richard Ramsey and daughter, Paula Rich.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Thomas Jessee; daughters, Crystal (Rodney) Dickens, Kimberly (Tony) Thacker, and Michelle Jessee; mother-in-law, Irene Jessee; grandchildren, Kara Ramsey, Daidrianna Leonard, Natalie May, Jay Grant, Siane Gott, Kaden Pierce, Eli Thacker, Kelly Rich, Corey Rich, Justin Rich, and Stacy Rich. Barbara is also survived by a great-granddaughter, Chloe Ashkettle.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Barbara’s life will follow at 6:00 P.M. in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. David Luster officiating. A private committal service will be held later.
