Betty Ruth Sutton

Betty Ruth Kidd Sutton, 90, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 18, 2019. She was born on April 25, 1929 in Sullivan County, TN to the late David and Bessie Austin Kidd.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and homemaker. Betty had kindness for all and malice towards no one.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William “Tinker” S. Sutton; daughter, Karen Ann Sutton; son, David Lee Sutton; and sister, Joretta Faye Kidd Flaherty.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Mark Edward Sutton; sister Joanne Kidd Daugherty; brothers, Ronald Leslie Kidd and David Anthony Kidd; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Betty will be laid to rest on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Prayer with Dr. Ted Hagen officiating.
