Claire A. Lemieux

Mrs. Lemieux was born on August 17, 1928 the daughter of the late Gilbert and Lena Deslauriers Vadnais. She was a member of St. John Vianney’s Catholic Church of Houston, Texas and St. Dominic’s Catholic Church of Kingsport,TN. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Lemieux was employed with Joske’s/Dillard’s for 31 years.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 65 years, Mr. Elzear (Zaz) J. Lemieux, Sr. of Kingsport. Her children; Susan (Donald) Klein of Middlesex,NJ, Denise (Doug)Fisher of East Longmeadow,MA., Elzear (Emily) Lemieux of Kingsport,Tn., and one sister, Theresa (Louis P.) Fontaine of North Fort Meyers,FL. Her grandchildren, include Christopher and Andrew Klein, Cathy Sue Kotch; Pamela, Vanessa, and Lance Cargill; Matthew and Jonathan Lemieux. One great-granddaughter, Madeline Sue Kotch.

Memorial Mass for Mrs. Lemieux will be conducted at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. with Father Mike Nolan. A gathering of friends will be held immediately following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Dominic’s Catholic Church of Kingsport.
