

Daphne Clonce, age 75, went home to be with Jesus on February 26, 2013 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family. Daphne was born in Greeneville, South Carolina and was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. Daphne was a charter member of Reservoir Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul A. and Iva Ruth Qullin Bridges and her brother, Talmadge Bridges. Daphne is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kelsey Clonce of Kingsport; son, Mark Clonce and wife Mikki of Mt. Carmel; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Hayes and husband Ken of Blountville; one granddaughter, Amber Alvis and husband Brian of Rogersville; one step-granddaughter, Becky Thomas and husband Chris of Kingsport; two great-grandchildren, Karah and Lydia Alvis; two step-grandchildren, Gavin and Ethan Thomas; her lifelong friend, Geraldine Scalf of Fall Branch. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 7:00 in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will be held Friday, at 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park.
