

Eugene Mylum Osborne, age 78 of Kingsport, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Johnson City Medical Center. Eugene was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on January 17, 1939 to Hazel L. Osborne and the late Clyde Z. Osborne. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company as a machinist after 30 years of service.
Eugene is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years Patsy T. Osborne; mother: Hazel L. Osborne of Kingsport, TN; two sons: Todd E. Osborne and wife Teresa of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Dr. Derek A. Osborne and wife Lynn of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren: Joshua T Osborne and wife Danielle of Gray, Tennessee, Jordon L. Osborne and fiancée Maddison Cox of Church Hill, Tennessee, Julianne Allen and husband Nehemiah of Knoxville, Tennessee, Kane O. Ross and husband Michael of Knoxville, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren: Brooklyn and Cambrie Osborne of Gray, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM with a memorial service immediately following at 3:30 PM in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Dr. Greg Burton, pastor of Colonial Heights Baptist Church officiating. Inurnment will follow at 4:00 PM, in Mausoleum II at East Lawn Memorial Park.
