He was born on November 21, 1961, Detroit, Michigan to Mary Lorena Caudill Anderson and the late Jessie Ellis Anderson. Jesse was a man of many talents, capable of building or fixing anything, but his greatest gifts were in music. He was a great guitar player and loved songs and artists from many different eras and genres. Jesse adored his family, and above all, he was a proud and faithful Christian.
Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Ellis Anderson.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Lorena Anderson; brother, John Anderson; special uncle, Leroy Caudill; special aunt, Linda Gilley; special cousin, whom he loved as a sister, Tina (Tim) Kelly; special cousin, Denise Willis. Jesse is also survived by several extended family members, friends, and close cousins, including Debra Anderson, Teresa Anderson, Robert Anderson, and Charles Anderson.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 22, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 5:45 P.M. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 P.M. in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jon Rogers officiating. Interment will be private.
