Jimmie was born in El Dorado, AR on November 27, 1956. He married Cherie Armstrong on August 3, 1990. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Jimmie is preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Ruth Lucas, and; his stepfather, William E. Lucas, Sr.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Cherie Ellen Schultz; children: Jimmie William Cushman, Jonathan Edward Herring(Ashley), Robert Carl Herring(Amanda), Marsheila Kay Woods(Josh), and Samantha Nicole Minter(Michael), however, he also raised Jewel Lee Stringer and Jade Renee Kelly; sisters: Monette Vincent(Jerry), Henrietta De Leon, Angelita McCasland(Wayne), Carolyn Whitlock and brother, William E. Lucas, Jr.(Sue).
He also leaves behind countless grandchildren, nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
The family of Jimmie Schultz wishes to extend our sincere thanks to his nurse, Vera, with Avalon Hospice, for taking care of him and being compassionate in our time of need.
A visitation for Jimmie will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at East Lawn Memorial Park. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home. A laid to rest will occur Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 3:00 PM.
