Leta Mae Collins, 88, entered into rest on January 31, 2014 at Brookhaven Manor in Kingsport. She was born in Nickelsville, VA and was a longtime resident of Kingsport. Leta was preceded in death by her parents Gayle and Luma Kate Broadwater Fletcher; infant daughter, Debra Karen Collins. Survivors include her husband of 65 years of marriage, James E. Collins; one sister, Thelma Marie Carr of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Rev. J.W. Depew officiating. Burial will be at Holston View Cemetery, nephews will serve as pallbearers.
