She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport, retired from the Kingsport Times News after 31 years as the circulation manager. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved her family and her cat. She also enjoyed arts/crafts and making jewelry especially Celtic jewelry.
She is survived by her mother DeLana Hayter; brothers Mark Hayter (Kathy) and David Hayter (Jill); nieces and nephews, Ryan Hayter (Lillie), Mitchell Hayter (Megan), William Hayter, Trinity, Jessie, Alan, Sawyer Jane, Carver Mai and her fur baby, Sophie.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Campbell Hayter; maternal grandparents, Chester and Manerva Banks and paternal grandparents, Hillard and Bonnie Hayter.
The family will receive friends from 1 - 5 pm on Tuesday, December 20 at East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
