Mary Ethel Bowers

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Burnace Ray Bowers, Sr., her sons: Norman Edward Bowers, Sr., Burnace Ray Bowers, Jr. and Samuel Kane Bowers, and daughters: Diana Lynn Sebesta and Zona Louise Bowers and 7 brothers and sisters.

Mary is survived by four daughters: Daisy Correna Bowers, Mary Kay Williams, Lisa Darlene Harber and Karla Candace Hingle (Ken). 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Seven brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was a christian in the Baptist faith. She was a member of Cowans Branch Baptist Church. She wore many hats throughout her lifetime, but first and foremost she was a devoted wife and mother to her children. There were so many good qualities about her. She was patient, kind, hardworking, strong minded, loving, and determined. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling and gardening. She loved flowers and she could make anything grow. She was a precious lady and will be missed.

Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2025 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home with funeral services at 1:00 PM. Entombment immediately following in East Lawn Memorial Park.
