

Mary Mae Keys age 90, of Colonial Heights community Passed away March 9, 2011 in Indian Path Medical Center. She was born January 7, 1921 in Washington County Tn.to the late Charles and Golda Lloyd .Mrs. Keys was a resident of the Colonial Heights Community for the past 60 years; for many years she managed Nettie-Lee children’s shoe dept.and owned and operated Mary Keys Buster Brown Shoes. She was a long time member of Col. Heights Presbyterian Church where she was Sunday School Super indent, helped with youth group, Girl Scouts and volunteered for meals on wheels. Mrs. Keys was preceded in death by her Husband Charles Keys, one sister Margaret Peters, a brother Charles Lloyd. Survivors include Daughters Sharon Camp and husband Rich Brentwood, Tn.; Judy Fastenau and Husband Mike Weaverville, N.C..Granddaughters, Amy, Emily Gillespie Grandsons Matthew Gillespie and Steve Camp and wife Carrie One brother Herman Lloyd and wife Margaret Limestone,Tn. Sisters Lena Humphreys Johnson City,Tn; Helen Kinby and husband David,Johnson City, Tn.; Nylah Leonard Chesapeake, Md.; Joan Rash and husband Jim Johnson City, Tn ;.Kathleen Slemmons South Boston, Va. There will be a Memorial Service held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church, with Tom Phillips officiating.
