Mildred Louise Headrick

Mildred Louise Headrick, 84, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015, in the Indian Path Medical Center. She was born on June 8, 1930 in Athens, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Leonard Culberson and Cora Lee Brannon Culberson. Mrs. Headrick retired with thirty years of service as a Registered Nurse from the James H. Quillen VAMC and was a member of West Colonial Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Headrick was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Headrick; son, Teddy Booher; and one brother, Leonard Dewayne Culberson.

Survivors include one son, Dana Headrick, of Kingsport, TN; two grandsons, Ryan Headrick and Evan Headrick; one sister, Janet Stephens and husband Sam, of Athens, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 20, 2015 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. A Private burial will be held in the Garden of the Last Supper at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be sent to West Colonial Hills Baptist Church, Children’s Ministry, 1205 Kendrick Creek Road, Kingsport, TN 37663.
