O. G. Clark

O. G. Clark, 83, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 surrounded by his family. A lifelong resident of Kingsport, Tennessee he was employed at Eastman Kodak Company and pastored at Cowans Branch Baptist Church and Springdale Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Marco Clark, his wife of 45 years, Frankie Clark, his son-in-law, Jerry Adams, his sisters, Mae Clark Benton, Iva Nell Clark and Dolly Olterman. O. G. leaves behind his two brothers, Earl Clark and James W. “Bud” Clark, his daughters, Kay Mitchell and husband, Joe, Vicky Fields and husband, Rodney, Sandy Richards and husband, Pete, and Tamara Adams. Mr. Clark is survived by ten grandchildren, Matthew Mitchell, Rachel Barrett, Rebekah Stansberry, Elisabeth Fields, Benjamin Martin, Joshua Martin, Jeremiah Adams, Jared Adams, Bethany Martin and Jonathan Martin and several nieces and nephews. He is fondly remembered by eleven great grandchildren as Papaw “G.” The family of O.G. Clark invites you to celebrate his life on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church.
