Rodney Pickwell

He was preceded in death by his wife: Esta, daughter: Connie, grandson: Nathaniel, parents: John and Harriet and sister Donna.

Rodney leaves a son: Curtis Pickwell and wife, Debbie; son: Chris Pickwell, and a daughter: Carol Bedingfield and husband, Ed Mullett. He also leaves 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Rodney worked until he was 85 years old as an Electrical Engineer and had an unparalleled work ethic. He actively served the Lord in churches since he was a teenager as well as help start 2 churches and served on mission trips. He attended Talatha Baptist Church in Aiken, SC until he had to come back to Tennessee due to his health.

A visitation for Rodney will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Graveside services will immediately follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. His grandson, Pastor Jeremy Pickwell of Alinea Church in Murfreesboro, TN and Pastor Jordan Bird of Talatha Baptist Church, Aiken, SC will officiate. Rodney's grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Matthew Pickwell, Christopher Pickwell, Andrew Pickwell, Brandon Bedingfield, Mitch Bedingfield, and Josh Bedingfield.
