Selena Williams

Selena Williams, 57, of Kingsport, gained her Heavenly wings, and went home on Thursday, April 23, 2020. She was born January 28, 1963 in Kingsport, to the late Mary Williams and Arthur Peters. Selena was a loving mother, sister, daughter, friend, and was the caregiver of her sister. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Including her parents, Selena is preceded in death by a son, Matthew Travis Williams, husband Luke Williams, sister, Peggy Haynes, and brother, Gary Lee Peters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Travis Williams and wife Autumn; brothers, Johnny Peters and wife Barbara, Bill Peters and wife Pam, and Danny Barrett and wife Jane; sisters, Donna Simpson, Kim Burkey and husband Bud, Linda Price and husband Mack, and Jean Collins; granddaughters, Caroline and Abigail Williams; several special nieces and nephews; and special friends, Rene Webb and Mark Burke.

It was Selena’s wishes to be cremated.
