Sherri Edens

She was preceded in death by by her parents, Charles and Judy Fields.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Edens III, and her two sons: Timothy Andrew Edens and Caleb Nathaniel Edens. She also has a brother, Michael Wayne Fields "Bubby" and his wife, Ruth Fields.

Sherri was heavily involved in church work. She served with her parents on the mission field, living in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Mexico. She worked with children and enjoyed the ministry.

She graduated Sigma Cum Laude at Tri-Cities Christian School, graduating in 1984. She then attended Hyles-Anderson College, graduating in 1991, with a BS degree in Elementary Education.

She married her loving husband Carl P Edens III.

Sherri has been a member of Buffalo Ridge Baptist church for 22 years. She served in the bus ministry, bringing kids to church and also worked in children's church. She would tell them missionary stories each week. Sherri enjoyed life. She had a special friend named Joyce Jenkins, Joyce would call her weekly, pray for her and was a great friend.

Funeral services will be held at East Lawn Funeral Home at 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024 with Rev. Jody Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, Nov. 29, 2024 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Bobby Burrow officiating.
