

Sue Cline-Honeycutt, 78 of Gray went home to be with the Lord November 28, 2014 while at home, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on November 2, 1936 in Cripple Creek, Va. She was the daughter of the late Cabell T. and Laura B. Lowe. She graduated from Speedwell High School, Va. She married her first husband the late Ernest L. Cline in 1953, and became the devoted Mother we all know and love. Sue faithfully attended Central Church of Christ, Johnson City Tennessee. Sue enjoyed dancing and traveling with her “honey”, the love of her life DB Honeycutt.
Sue leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband Darrell Bruce Honeycutt (DB). Her Children: Ernest (Regina) Cline Jr, of Gray, Janie Cline, of Gray, David (Lisa Hembree) Cline, of Decatur AL, James (Gretchen) Cline of Gray; Grandchildren: Ashley (Stephen) Clouse, Leighton (Carmen) Cline, Colton Horne, Kathrina Cline, Jameson Cline, Samuel Cline; Great-grandchildren: Trip, Braelyn, Scarlett Clouse, and Keenan Cline; brothers: Hobert (Margaret) Lowe, Clinton (Lois) Lowe, Rocky Lowe; sisters: Connie Hicks, Dale (George) Dudley; and many step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Sue is preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Willie Lowe; and loving son, William (Bill) Cline. The family of Sue Cline-Honeycutt will receive friends from 5-7pm Monday December 1st at East Lawn Funeral Home, 4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport. Funeral Services will follow in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home beginning at 7pm with Minister Tim Hall officiating. Graveside Services will be held at Tri-Cities Memory Garden, Blountville on Tuesday, December 2nd beginning at 11 am, with Minister Tim Hall officiating. Pallbearers will be Colton Horne, Leighton Cline, Stephen Clouse, Heath Castle, Matthew Hawkins, George Dudley, Jameson Cline, Samuel Cline, Trip Clouse. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Caris Hospice, for their dedication and loving care they each provided to Sue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Jefferson City Group Home 1424 Fate Rankin Rd, Jefferson City, TN 37760, in memory of her son Bill Cline. East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park has the honor of serving the family.
