

Willard Lott, 92, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at the Brookhaven Manor. Mr. Lott was born on February 27, 1922 in McNairy County, Tennessee, the son of the late Albert Bryant Lott and Emily Deaton Lott. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II and was member of New Beginnings Baptist Church. Mr. Lott was the Terminal Manager at Greyhound of Kingsport and had also worked at Eagle Automotive. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lott was preceded in death by wife, Rachel Lott; two sons, Steven Lott and Jimmy Lott; and two brothers, Claude Lott and Joe Lott. Survivors include his three brothers, Robert “Jack” Lott and wife Mildred, A.B. Lott and wife Emogene and Jimmy Lott; four granddaughters, Kristen Bortz, Amanda Collins, Allison Keesee and husband Alex and Tessa Lott; four great grandchildren, Taylor Bortz, Angel Johnson, Peyton Keesee and Lexi Keesee; and special lifelong family friend, Jeanetta and Craig Williams. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mr. Willard Lott will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Leeland Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Everlasting Life III at East Lawn Memorial Park with military honors to be rendered by the American Legion Hammond Post #3 and Gate City Post #265. Pallbearers will be Taylor Bortz, Alex Keesee, Frank Fonseca, Grant Starnes, Hunter Arnold, Nathan Fletcher, Steve Fletcher and Keith Bacigalupo. Honorary pallbearer will be Peyton Keesee.
