Eliseo Lozano Jr.

Eliseo Lozano, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the age of 78. He was born on July 1, 1934 in Kingsville, Texas, to Elena and Eliseo Lozano, Sr. Eliseo worked in retail for more than forty years. He also enjoyed playing the drums professionally.

Eliseo was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law, Daniel Bendele.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Irma H. Lozano; three daughters: Sylvia Lozano (Randy) Hoyer, Yvette Lozano and Velma Lozano Bendele all of San Antonio; one sister, Maria Olga Lozano of Kingsville/San Antonio; one brother, Baltazar “Cono” Farias of San Antonio; five grandchildren: Raymond Hoyer; Elise, Dorian, Daphne and Danielle Bendele all of San Antonio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the San Antonio & South Texas Chapter, Alzheimer’s Association,7400 Louis Pasteur Dr. # 200,San Antonio, TX 78229-4542 or to the Altar Society at St. Martin's Catholic Church, 715 N. 8th St., Kingsville, TX 78363.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 10, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at St Martin’s Catholic Church, Kingsville. Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
