Ruth Ellen Sawyer Creekmore

Ruth Ellen Creekmore, age 54, a resident of Austin, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Austin. She was born August 28, 1958 in Kingsville to Jack Sawyer and Bobbie Smith Sawyer. Mrs. Creekmore was employed at the Institutional Research Department at Texas A&M University – Kingsville until her retirement.

She was preceded in death on November 15, 2011 by her husband, Keith Stanley Creekmore; parents, and sister, Barbara Sawyer.

Mrs. Creekmore is survived by one sister, Becky Folkman (Craig) of Austin; one niece, Karen Pearson (Chris) of Austin; and one nephew, Todd Folkman of Austin.

Visitation will take place Monday, October 29, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim M. Curran officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
