

It is with great sadness that the family of Alvin Abramson announce his passing on Friday, March 28, 2025. Alvin in his 90th year, lived a great life of good health and a fulfilling career as a proud farmer on the Abramson homestead.
Alvin was born on September 2, 1935 on the farm, the last born of Erik and Inga Abramson.
Alvin is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret (nee Barath); daughter Lori Jane (Keray) Lenius and son Brent (Glenda). Alvin will be greatly missed by his cherished grandchildren: Blake, Mike (Tammy), Mandy (Kevin), Elissa (Chris), Sarah (Tyler), Aaron, Cole (Karly), Colby (Turner), Corrie (Darcy) and Jody (Scott); 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Alex Barath; sister-in-law Diane McCormick and several nephews and nieces.
Dad will be welcomed by his parents Erik and Inga; his son Wayne; brothers and sisters: Abram, Elmer, Gordon, Eleanor, Lilas, Ethel, Signe and Hilma, as well as many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Dad's leisure time was spent at our family cabin at Kenosee Lake as well as attending the Country Music Festival at Craven every summer. Dad and Mom had several winter trips with family and friends over the years. Dad was involved with several groups and boards within the community of Kipling.

The funeral service was held in Christ Lutheran Church in Kipling, Saskatchewan, officiated by Pastor Carlton Larsen, on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. The interment took place in the Kipling Town Cemetery.
