Brenda Lee Galbraith

It is with great sadness that we announce that our dear Brenda Lee Galbraith passed away quietly on August 3, 2020 at 10 p.m; 2 hours before her birthday. She will join her cousin, Dannon Herr, Uncle Duke (Lorry) Galbraith, Auntie Connie Baker, Grandpa & Grandma Galbraith, and Grandpa & Grandma Herr in heaven to celebrate her 51st Birthday.

Brenda is survived by her parents, Arnold and Bev, her brothers, Darren (Marilyn) and Darcy (Desirae) and several nephews and nieces, Reagan, Taylor, Andrew, Tianna (and great niece, Ava), Tristan, Degan and Dawson. She is also survived by many uncles, aunties, and cousins, & their families.

Brenda was born on August 4th, 1969 in Broadview, SK. and raised on the family farm in the surrounding area. She attended Broadview School from kindergarten to grade eight and went onto Oxbow School for two years of special learning.

Brenda was a very active member in the Special Olympics and won several awards and medals. She was also an active volunteer for the Broadview Centennial Lodge, Hospital, and School Library. We are so very proud of her accomplishments. She lived on her own in a little house in Kipling, SK. for 25 years and attended Kipling Industries Day Program. She spent the last four years in the Kipling Group Home, where she shared time with kindhearted staff members and her friends.

Brenda cared about people more than anything, she loved to get a hug from all who knew her and even those who didn’t know her! She was well-known for phoning many people on their birthdays or anniversaries to send along her happy cheers and well wishes. Brenda was a family cheerleader for many community events and team sports games, she cheered loud and proud and always said to all who could hear her, “I Love You!”
