Hughie was born on August 17, 1929 in Central Butte, Saskatchewan.
He was predeceased by the love of his life Diane; his parents Peter and Stella and siblings: Esther, Mary, John, David, Irene, Doreen and Bill (W.R.).
Left to mourn his passing are sons: Clay (Mary), Hal (Sherry), Darwin (Lorie) and their families; sister Gladys Eliason and family; along with numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
A private celebration of life for both Hugh and Diane will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Moose Mountain Lodge for the excellent care of both our loved ones.
