Lena Berkes

The funeral service will be held in the Calvary Baptist Church, Kipling, SK. on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Richard Barta officiating. Interment in Calvary Baptist Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held in the Tubman Funeral Home, Kipling on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Lena was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1999, son Bill Berkes in 2007, parents Louis and Helen Daku, three brothers; Louis, Arnold and William Daku, three sisters: Olga (Joe) Szakacs, Velma (Mike) Elek and Helen (Frank) Elek.

Lena is survived by one daughter, Jean (Stan) Smith, Yorkton, five grandchildren: Candace (Joseph) Pelletier, Yorkton, Stan Smith Jr., Yorkton, Janice (Barry) Millham, Davidson, SK., Dallas (Jodi) Smith, Yorkton and Lance Smith, Yorkton; eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, Tamara (David) Dozorec, Regina, Kyle Pelletier (Stephany Ardnt) and daughter Nikita, Yorkton, Rebecca Pelletier and family Autumn-Lilly and Zaris, Yorkton, Leland Millham and Joclyn Millham, Davidson, Josh Smith, Brooke Smith and Coby Smith, Yorkton, one sister Lillian Vargo, Okotoks, AB and also her nieces and nephews.
