Linton "Terry" Terence Ovans

He passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, surrounded by family.

Terry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gloria (Lauritsen); daughter Sharon and her daughter Cassandra; son Darrin and daughter-in-law Trudy (Messaros) and their children Kaitlyn Friesen (Jhari) and Josh (Nicole); four great-grandchildren: Boden, Maisie, Ember and Jack; sisters-in-law: Florence Hazell, Ann Ennis (Neil), Winnie Taylor (Bob) and Karen Rung (Dan); brother-in-law Soren Lauritsen (Sue), as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Belle; in-laws Soren and Marjorie Lauritsen; brother-in-law Ernie Hazell, nephews Landon Ennis and Dan Hazell and niece Shannon Haus (Robert).

A funeral service will take place in Kipling United Church, Kipling, SK on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Stephen Luff and Monica Dayman.
