Marne was born on January 27, 1935 in Windthorst, Saskatchewan. She married the love of her life, Don Thody on October 17, 1953 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Marne was predeceased by her husband Don as well as by her daughters Holly and Melodie.
Marne is survived by son Charles (Claudine) Thody; son-in-law Barry White; grandchildren: Jason, Jensina and Courtney and great-grandchild Jordynn.
In keeping with Marne's wishes cremation will take place and no formal service will be held.
