Wayne Stender

Wayne leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Lila; son Trevor (Sherri) of Hazenmore, SK; daughter Maria Dawn (Jeff), Myla and Kloe Hill of Kipling, SK; son Chad (Amanda) and Kaitlyn of Kennedy, SK; mother-in-law Ila Joorisity of Kipling, SK; brothers Earl (Shirley) of Strathmore, AB and Robert (Mona Lynn) of Kipling, SK; brothers-in-law: Dale (Sherri) Joorisity of Regina, SK, Wade Joorisity of Kipling, SK, Kent (Darlene) of Swift Current, SK and Don (Tracy) Joorisity of Kipling, SK and many nieces and nephews.

Wayne was predeceased by his grandparents: Earnie and Ellen Stender and David and JoAnna Rodger; parents Aub and Anne Stender; father-in-law Steve Joorisity; sisters-in-law Mickey Stender and Ella Joorisity; brother-in-law Elton Joorisity and sister Patricia Broomfield.

A funeral service was held in Parkland Bible Church, Kipling, Saskatchewan on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:30 p.m., officiated by Mervin Daku. A luncheon followed in the Kipling Recreation Centre. A private interment will be held at a later date.
