Alfred Ray Weeks

Alfred Ray Weeks, age 85, went home with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at his home in Kissimmee, Florida surrounded by his loving family. He was born to J.P. and Mattie Weeks on September 10, 1926 in Hurricane Creek, Florida. He married Wilma Jean Williams on August 19, 1944 when they were both only 18 years old. They celebrated 67 years together before their passing. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. He was a maintenance supervisor for Disney, retiring after 25 years of service. He will be missed by many family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by his sons Steve (and his wife, Judy) Weeks of Kissimmee, Florida and Allen (and his wife, Barbara) Weeks of Venice, Florida; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and his sisters Dorothy Rye and Charlie-Jo Mason.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3rd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Grissom Funeral Home, 803 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, Florida 34741.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 4th at 10:00 am at Rose Hill Cemetery in Kissimmee, Florida.
