Bernadette A. Mascali

Bernadette Angela Mascali, age 57, of St. Cloud, FL passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012. Born in New York City on October 23, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Primo Tortoroli and the late Eliza Monse Tortoroli. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Mascali, and her brother, Jean Tortoroli.

A graduate of St. Helena’s School of Business in the Bronx, Bernadette and James were married on her birthday in 1972. She had been employed in the time share industry with Star Island Resort in Kissimmee and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St.Cloud. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Bernadette will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela Samonte of Christmas, FL and Christina Santos of St. Cloud, FL; her grandchildren, Alyssa Samonte, Hunter Samonte, Sierra Samonte, Emma Santos, and Ava Santos; and her sisters, Monique Longhitano of Sandwich, MA, Danielle Biondi of Bronx, NY, and Nicole Quaranti of Holopaw, FL.

A memorial service to celebrate Bernadette's life will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Cloud with Father Kent officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1601 W. Colonial Dr., Orlando, FL 32804.
