Such a wonderful teacher and person.You are truly missed.I will never forget how much you tried so hard to teach me math.I learned so much from you.You stayed after school to help me.You even gave me a ride home when I stayed late and missed my bus.You always made me feel special though no matter how much trouble I had learning math.Thank you always for all you did for not just me but all of us.I know you are dancing above and watching us from above.Bless you always and  bless your family ❤️

Mrs. Porter was an important part of my senior year in high school GHS 76, where she taught math and was the cheerleading coach. Tough but kind and fair.  The last time i saw her was in the fall of 1995 while visiting my parents. She remembered me right away.  We walked my two young children up to the high school because we heard a football game. It was homecoming. She ushered us in through the gate to enjoy the game and floats. Rest in Peace Mrs. Porter
