

Gladys loved painting, reading, dancing, movies, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by; her parents, two brothers, one sister and her husband.
Gladys is survived by her 6 daughters; Deborah Beck, Elizabeth Walters, Rebecca Borders, Betsy King, Donna Smith, and Martha Mann; Grandchildren, Jason Borders, Lessie Mohr, Libby Colvin , Thomas Walters, Joseph Walters, Jeremy Smith, Christopher King, Jamie Beck, Betsy Hyatt, Monica King, Timothy King, Maegan Mann, and Mollie Mann, 9.5 great grandchildren, and many other family members.
Gladys was a carefree spirit who never met a stranger and only saw the good in everyone. She would give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need. She had a large extended family consisting of friends she met and adopted alone her lives path. She worked tirelessly to raise her six daughters and provide for them as they grew. She was a strong loving woman who was loved by all those who met her. Gladys was a “Dear Abby” to many souls in need and is now surrounded by angels in Heaven. She will be missed by many and forgotten by none.
Family will receive friends at Grissom Funeral Home on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 10:00am. The Funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Interment will take place at Lake Hill Cemetery (Winter Garden, FL).
