

Jeff was born on January 23, 1960, in East Liverpool, OH. He graduated from Oak Glen High School in Chester, WV. Jeff retired as the Director of Food, Nutrition, and Environmental Services at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Florida.
On July 14, 1978, Jeff married the love of his life, Darlene Allison Samples, and they shared 47 years of marriage.
He had a passion for cooking, especially for holidays, and was well known for his legendary pepperoni rolls and peanut butter fudge. He also enjoyed golf, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and WVU football, and spending time at the ocean, which he visited as often as he could.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Patricia Samples, and his brother, Tom Samples.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Allison Samples; his sons, Jason Samples (Erin) of Oviedo, Florida, and Kyle Samples of St. Cloud, Florida; and his beloved grandchildren, Payton Ray Samples, Avery Samples, and Blake Samples. He is also survived by his sister, Tammy (Dale) Dudgeon; his brother, Don (Sandy) Samples; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In accordance with Jeff’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.
