Norma I Harrison, 78, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on May 16, 2013. She was born on May 19th to Ina Eugenie Tomlinson in Westmoreland, Jamaica. Norma was a Nursing Assistant in the Medical Industry. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Norma is survived by her loving husband Alexander Harrison; Son Onel (Patricia) Harrison; Daughter Yvette Palmer; Aunt Joyce Tomlinson; Sisters Leila Williams, Janet Dodd, Violet Smith, June (Anthony) Spalding; Grandson Phillip (Eliana) Harrison; Great Grandchildren Aiden Harrison and Naomi Harrison.
The loss of Norm has brought great sadness to her family and her friends all across the world. She has left both her family and friends with memories that will last all their lives.
Like her mother (Ina Smith), her love for people could not be tamed. Always giving of herself she had plenty to share. It is said that what a person finds most interesting is what they spend their time doing. Norm, who was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, devoted her life to teaching all whom she would meet about the Bible and all that Jehovah promised to the world of mankind which is close at hand.
Teaching about God's Kingdom was her greatest gift to all whom she would meet and greet, then her next gift to you was an over abundance of hospitality. After Norm has fed you, you may have trouble leaving the table. Her hospitable nature goes without saying.
Norm has left us with hearts full of sadness but also over flowing with love and beautiful memories. As she sleeps, the memories of her will stay not only with her family and friends but most importantly with our heavenly father Jehovah God who promised that the resurrection hope will be there for her. Based on her faith in this hope, Norm will rest for a short time until Jehovah her God calls. Norm's favorite Bible verse is found at Isaiah 41:13 - For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, 'Do not be afraid. I myself will help you'. With these words she has left us much to think about so that we too can trust in the Great God of the Universe Jehovah. Rest my wife, we will see you soon.
