Rene Fermin Palomino

Rene Fermin Palomino, 91, born July 7, 1934, in Cuba, passed away on April 23, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who were privileged to know him.

Rene was survived by his wife, Aida Palomino; son Rene(Alica)Palomino; and son in-law Ricky Miller. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Bryan Johnson, Lynn Palomino, Kristina Miller, and Kevin Miller; step grandchildren: Glenda Miller, Steve Miller, Chris Miller; great grandchildren: Nathan Johnson, Nicole Johnson, Logan Johnson, Walker Gokee; step great grandchildren: Taylor (Jared) Kitinoja, Brantley Grafton, Kendall Miller, Kennedy Miller, and Kaleb Miller; and step great great daughter: Ava Kitinoja.

Rene was preceded in death by his parents, Agusto Palomino and Blanca Barrios; his daughter, Aida miller; his great grandson, Brett Johnson; and his siblings, Jorge Palomino, Rosa Palomino, Oraido Palomino, Silvio (Eulalia) Palomino, and Augusto Palomino.

Visitation will be held at Grissom Funeral Home and Crematory, 803 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, FL 34741, on April 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location on April 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34744, on April 30, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

Rene resided in Kissimmee, Florida, and will be remembered for the steady presence he brought to those around him—an enduring devotion to family, a life marked by dignity, and a legacy carried forward through generations.
