Richard "Dick" Sims, 81, of Kissimmee FL, passed away February 10, 2012. He was born in Lima, Ohio on December 6, 1930. Dick graduated from Lima Senior High. He served in the Army from August 1948 to March 1954. He was also a member of the Army National Guard, and the Air Reserves for another seven years for a total time in the service of 14yrs. He was married to Jo Ann on June 19, 1972. Dick worked in security for Sea World, Florida Power and was an inspector for General Electric Hermetic Motor Division. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Mizpah Dune Patrol, Titusville Citizens Patrol and had a passion for Police work. He was servived by wife Jo Ann, children Connie Branham, Terry Sims, Shirley Stumpf, Bob Sims, Joe Sims, and step-children Betty Bodle, Vicki Weatherman, David Carden, Donna Parmer, 35 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren.
The service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday February 19th, at the Broadmoor Clubhouse, 201 Boscobel Dr. Kissimmee, Florida.
