SCOTT, Alice – It is with heavy hearts that Alice’s family announces her sudden passing on Friday, September 19, 2008 at the age of 55 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of 34 years to her husband, Jim Scott. Devoted mother of Bev Scott and Nicole Scott, both of Kitchener. “Granny’s” passion in life were her grandchildren, of whom she was so proud - Andrew, Quentin, Caitlin, Sarah and Emma. Cherished daughter-in-law of Mary Scott. Alice is also survived by her sister, Mary Waters in Scotland. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family out West and by the many people who lives she touched. She was a popular 25 year employee at the University of Waterloo, where she worked in Food Services and made a lasting impression on many students and faculty.
