Surrounded by his family, Bill passed away at the Grand River Hospital on Wednesday, March 24th at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Glenna; loving father to Sue, Nigel, Jeff, and Scott. Bill will also be missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his extended family. Bill was an avid amateur radio enthusiast, known to his many HAM buddies as VE3 RAQ. Bill was a proud veteran of the RAF, serving during World War II. Friends and family are welcome to celebrate his life at the Family Centre at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home on Sat. April 3rd from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. A Memorial service will be held in his honour commencing at 2:30 pm with a time of reflection and celebration to follow.
