Mrs. Claudia Seefeldt Schoepke

SCHOEPKE, Claudia It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, sister, cousin, niece and best friend, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at Guelph General Hospital, in her 53rd year. Claudia found meaning as a homemaker, in motherhood, in her work as a hairstylist, in her art, and in helping the less fortunate, especially comforting the sick. Dearly loved and devoted wife of Peter, mother of Peter Jr. and Stephanie with fiancé Ricky Woods. Predeceased by her mother Helga Seefeldt, uncle Gerhard Deinas and cousin Karin Mulhall. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Simone Gabbay, with husband Eli and son Benjamin; mother and father-in-law Waltraud and Siegfried Schoepke; aunt Brigitte Bergmeier with husband Tony; aunt Corrie Deinas; cousin Ellen Cook with husband David and sons Brendan, Kellen, and B.J.; nephew Erich Mulhall with fiancée Cynthia Miltenburg and niece Jennifer Schiedel with husband Shawn. She will also be remembered by recently found siblings, Detlef Seefeldt, Edelgard Schulz and family, Michael Seefeldt with wife Linda, and Susanne Swanson-Bernard. Claudia's family will receive friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener, on Friday, February 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Bridgeport Memorial Cemetery; reception to follow at the Concordia Club. Expressions of sympathy welcome and donations can be made to the Homewood Health Centre. She will live in our hearts forever.
