Donald Nurse

Survived by son Paul; daughter Lori and her husband Garth Aasen and their children Alexandra (Jeremy Robertson) and Gregory; daughter Sandra and her husband Sandy Scott and their children Matthew (Mel Maltby )and Jeffrey; and son Craig. Also survived by their mother, Marilyn Nurse. Don is survived by sister Marilyn Bain.

Predeceased by his parents and four brothers, Grey, Howard, Roy and Gordon.

Don was a local business owner, past president of the KW Oktoberfest and long-time member of Westmount Golf and Country Club.

At Don’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home Chapel, 621 King St. W. Kitchener at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.

If desired, donations may be made to Lisaard House or Lutherwood Child and Family Foundation, c/o Spiritual Care Program, as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the incredible staff at Luther Village on the Park and Lisaard House for their exceptional kindness. Your care and compassion towards our dad will never be forgotten.
