HOVINGA, Frederik – Peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Dolphine (2012). Loving father of Ed (Judy), Fred (Marilyn), Peter (Carol), Dolly (Albert), Tony (Lana), Reggie and the late Roland and Corey. Frederik will be lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Griet Deblecourt and will be missed by his nieces, nephews and family all in Holland. Visitation will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street W, Kitchener on Monday, July 20 from 10 am until 12 noon. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 12 pm. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Hospital.
