Gertrude Schwartz Mohr

Passed away peacefully following a short yet courageous battle with cancer on Monday April 27th, 2015, three days after her 84th birthday.

Dear mother of Edgar (Jeannine) Mohr and Terri-Ann Mohr (Roy Lush). Loving Oma to Nicole Mohr, Edgar Mohr Jr. (Shannon Smyth), Cheyenne and Dakota Mohr and Ryan Saunders.

Beloved sister of Anna (Alec Soiderer) and Ernest Schwarz.

Survived by her husband Erich Mohr and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Anna and Jacob Schwarz and nine siblings.

Gerty enjoyed spending time in her gardens and entertaining family and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

Gerty’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday May 2, 2015 from 1-1:45pm at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 2pm. Reception to follow.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Freeport Health Centre would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
