Helen Manary

Passed away suddenly on Monday, April 29, 2013 at the age of 90. Wife of the late Thomas Arthur Dowsett and mother of Darryl Dowsett, Cheryl Dowsett and Brenda Roach (John). Grandmother of Rob, Leanne, Sadie, Jamie and Jesse. Dear sister of Grace Abs, Bill Omand (Trudy), Marj Fraser (Bob), and Bob Omand (Jean). Predeceased by her parents, Wilson and Edith (Hammond) Omand, and brothers Fraser, Jack, and Bruce, and sister Kay. Helen loved having her children and grandchildren close by, and was always interested in spending quality time with them. She enjoyed when the whole family was together on special occasions. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 4, 2013 at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home & Chapel, 51 Benton St Kitchener at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to donate in Helen`s memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society of Ontario and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at 519-742-4481.
