Henry Rempel

Rempel, Henry - Passed away suddenly on May 5, 2013 in his 91st year. Henry was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 5 years during the Second World War (1940-1945) and retired from CNR in 1986 after 45 years of service. He was born in Russia and came to Canada at the age of 2 ½ years old with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rempel of Kitchener, Ontario. Predeceased by his wife Ritta (2000) and son Randy (1984). Henry is survived by his two sisters; Mrs. Ilona Tschirhart of Wellesley and Mrs. Irma Blouse of Waterloo. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener. As per Henry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
