Howard Richard Sachs

With heavy hearts the family announces the death of Howard Sachs, dearly loved son of Letta (nee Finnegan), at the Grand River Hospital, Freeport Site on Wednesday February 8, 2012 in his 67th year. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Kim and his son Brad (Tammy) all of Kitchener. Much loved grandfather to Ben, Liam, Keelan and Meeghan, brother to Ralph of Ottawa, and is predeceased by his father Clarence. Howard was an avid cyclist in his later years and thoroughly enjoyed working outdoors in his yard and organizing his many tools. He enjoyed taking pictures and boat building and created many memories of boating adventures with his family, he will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with a reception and a time of sharing memories to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Center. Cremation will take place with private interment of cremated remains at Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Center would be greatly appreciated.
