Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the age of 81. Loving husband to Marioara Zivoin for 65 years. Dear father to a son, Nick (2012) and his wife Viorica, and a daughter Margareta. Proud grandfather of 3; John (Emilia), Mary (Christian), and David (Sarah). He was blessed with 4 great-grandchildren; Zachary, Vanessa, Sofia and Tiffany, who were dearest to his heart. Visitation will take place at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home (51 Benton at Church St. Kitchener) on Friday, September 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Panakhyda at 8 p.m.) A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 10 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church (2150 Bleams Rd. Kitchener) with Father John Maerean officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
