Jeffery Colin May

MAY, Jeffery Colin Passed away, after a brief illness, on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital, at the age of 81 years. Dearly loved father of Laura May of Calgary, Elaine Karpowicz and Doug McArthur of Breslau and Gary May and his wife Lisa May, of Cambridge, grandfather to Ashley Karpowicz and her fiancé Josh Garofalo, Corby Karpowicz, Katie and Meghan May, brother to Barbara Hutton of England, companion to Hildegard Altmayer. Predeceased by his parents George May and Alice Collins. Jeffery married his beloved wife Audrey in September 1956 and she passed away April 2003. Jeffery is now joining Audrey in Heaven, where they will spend eternity together. Jeffery had served with the Royal Air Force and belonged to the K-W Stamp Club, he had been employed with Babcock and Wilcox for 15 years until his retirement. At Jeffery's request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King St. W., Kitchener at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Heather Davies officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre and donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospital Cardiac Care Unit as expressions of sympathy through the Funeral Home.
